i guess the vvt settings of wayne are really crucial in these, specially cam intake looks soo much aggressive than stock and ots's ones
but as i said, wayne rom is SOOOOO smooth at low to mid rpm and load, i don t really care anymore of the wasted gasoline
Thanks Steve for the map tables!

As I use my car mainly on highways at 135-150km/h and cruise control I am in the area of 3200-3800rpm and load >0,7 where there is big difference from Stock / OFT V4 Stg2+ / Wayne CL fueling tables!
I haven't access to EUDM OFT V4 maps but I guess fueling will be more or less the same so OFT as a base may be suit better my needs if I find the appropriate maps for European cars.

since there arent v4 maps for eudm but v4 maps are actually euro maps, you can hack the by yourself and modify the avcs and closed loop map to keep them more similar to stock values untill say 3800 or 4000 rpm... or even do a blend that at low load columns they are like stock and at higher load you change them for higher performance

easiest way without hacking roms would be for your my17 Eudm to modify a k00g rom and copy all the modified tables you take from a v4 b01c rom to your k00g with romraider
i dont suggest you to look at v4 k00c maps since i think they are better for usa cat with red manifold

You are in my mind, I am thinking to see what USDM V4 maps mate better with my EUDM maps (still have no cable so I can't check which call id my car has) and after a completely factory dyno and one with catless UEL Tomei/Gruppe-s/Kinugawa headers to adjust the maps to my gas/driving style/weather and see again in the dyno what gains I have.
So are you sure B01C mate better with our K00G maps, K00C are for catted headers and red manifold?

I am not going to try many different maps as I'll do my own remap on the dyno, just want to know from you that have already experienced what is the best base map I could use from the available V4 maps as it seems they are a good compromise between power gains, smoothness and fuel consumption in daily basis.
What is your opinion Steve99?

Yes. Stage 2+ v4.03 on 93 with 10% ethanol. Rungs strong... Knocks a little sometimes though.

Can someone tell me how to lower the launch control RPM's? I've tried lowering the Rev indicator thing down, but the launch control always stays at 5,500 RPM's no matter what I do. Feel like I'm missing something here.

From everything I've read, even the stock tune knocks quite a bit. And I've also read that the engine should protect itself just fine. That's what IAM and flkc are for. To me it seems totally random as to when and where it knocks. I'll go weeks where my IAM will not drop at all, then all of a sudden it'll show a lil bit of knock, then in the same exact load range with the same type of driving the IAM will quickly rise right back to 1.

Do most people run Openflash on the stock/factory ECU? is a stand-alone ECU necessary if I wanted to save more than one tune to change on the fly?

If there is only a01g he would still need to modify a real k00g map to include those v4 tables in it
