Yeah I was comparing and contrasting shiv's dynos. It looks like the vortech is better above 5500 rpms and similar below that. With at times the phantom being better then the vortech. But above 5500 the vortech wins.

It would be awesome to do a head to head. Anyone in San Diego with the vortech who wants to meet up. Let me know!

Edit: damn it Fenton so much faster then me. And you posted pictures!

Are you talking about the battery tray? If so I don't think so. My stock one looks way cheaper then that.

Rob will send it if you choose to purchase the conversion kit to dump pack 1.5.

The stock battery tray works for single dump.

It is a nice little upgrade. The dual dump is obviously better but the fact that you have to relocate the stock battery to the trunk will deter a lot of people so Rob wanted to create something easy plug and play.

Not to mention when you relocate your battery to the trunk you are adding even more mass to the car.

Right now I'm trying to take all the mass out I can. Cutting 20 some pounds with the track pipe and then some more weight with the removal of the stock header for OFH.

I would love to get a aluminum driveshaft and lightweight crank pulley plus lightweight 17inch wheels but the wife will only allow for so much with only 3 weeks until our first baby

Congratulations. I have nearly 28 proud years under my belt, even he doesn't like cars.

Yeah, I'm in for a 1-1/2 dump packs as well. The extra amperage will help with successive engagements. The longer we can hold higher voltage the better.

Run super cap batteries and the voltage will stay at ~28V when engaged. I was talking to an electrical engineer at work (I'm an ME). He suggested this. This is what F1 uses in its Kers system.

I may try this when I get the kit. I like these:
