It should work when you insert SD card while car is off. But disconnecting battery will reset all "memory" in car radio. Thus if there is some kind of firmware issue (bug), then disconnecting battery might help (as IT supports says "Have you tried to restart it?"
)

No, I didn't pursue it further. Would take me too much time and energy to argue about the crappy radio. I got a better aftermarket radio instead. That was a better resolution to it. |
