Didnt have time to read all the replies, but i deal with busted up cars alot, and have had several issues in the last few years.

Shop around for a body shop that will take on your repairs and cover your deductible. Its not uncommon. Basically the shop will estimate your repairs at 5K or w/e it is, and inflate that price a bit up to 6K, and give you 1K to cover your deductible.

If you look hard enough youll easily be able to find a shop to take this on and cover your deductible. Only issue is youll be out of a car for a few weeks. But its better than nothing.

What kind of fee? Like a ticket? Was he allowed to drive his vehicle away if it was driveable?

Always a shame to hear how someone gets caught driving without a license or insurance, and the system fails to instigate any repurcussions and the driver wakes up the next morning and gets back in their car without issue

You only owe 2.4 left after 7 months, yet you said the car cost 17k?

Lets do some math! so that means you have paid 14.6k thus far in the terms of only 7 months.

Yet you stated you are eating plain rice and chocolate pudding and are broke. Wow. Priorities=none.

In fairness even I would be eating rice if I was paying $2K a month!

Hmm bunch of detectives. Original car trade in value was cosigber 10k plus 2k of my own plus 400 x7 which is around 14.8k. I have a cosigner on this car and that's why it's important for me to pay it off as soon as possible. I don't want to effect anyone reps. My budgeting skills aren't the best, trust me I'm not the only one. As all the oldies say " kids nowadays are young and reckless" well gang I guess this mystery is solve. *Que the audience laughter*

As for the other driver. He was let go for some reason. After some unorganized research I decided to take him to court. Either sue or make him pay for the fees

I'm not poor, just living check by check. Have 4 jobs.

Anyway, part out? I'll take some interior pieces. XD

It's fixable bro. Progressive WILL have it as salvage. They suck...they also my insurance provider. I'd beat the dude up.

I hate people who drive without insurance, with a suspended license, or no license at all! I know someone who was caught without no insurance during a traffic stop and had to pay over 700 dollars in fines.

I'll take those tires, and wheels for scrap. Maybe keep them around as spares. I'll even take the spare tire and tools!
