Yeah don't do it. Trust me.

Yea, that's exactly what I would do as well, if I blew the engine for some reason tomorrow, or pulled the engine to an auto-conversion for my kitplane I need to finish some day.

That is the best way, just wait it out and then decide what you want to do (if anything).
I bought the car with every intention of supercharging but after about 3 months and 10,000 miles decided it was fine just as it was (For a DD) and have no FI plans now.

This will be a DD for me as well. I average 7000 miles a year or so. Maybe a bit more now that my mileage won't burn a hole in my bank account haha

Same, I'm pretty much happy with the power in the FR-S, especially in just a fun lightweight DD. If I wanted pure speed I just go hop in the Mustang.

Depends... not everyone who owned a POS mustang went FI... I sold mine with 16K miles on 2011... mainly cause it spent most of its life at the dealership getting fixed.

I still haven't after 1 year and half, and probably never will.

I never had any problems with my mustang, it treated me right and I did the same. Never had to take it in.

Mine has never given me issues and it's a 2007, but the 2011 did have an issue from time to time with the MT-82 trans whine leading to failure. They also had issues with burning up cylinder 8 under certain conditions. Those issues were pretty much resolved for 2012 except for the MT-82 gear whine.

It's only 100 less than the mustang, and I've driven the frs already. Considering how much better it handles, it actually feels faster. I'm perfectly happy.

My dealership is lazy. Last I checked (20 minutes ago) they were finishing paper work at the other dealership they were picking it up from. Definitely have it by tonight. Hopefully in the next hour or two.

Trust me, I'm anxious as well.

Congrats man. I remember that feeling before driving it off the showroom floor.

I just traded in my 2011 Mustang GT on a 2015 CPO Halo FR-S. I would consider it a lateral trade as both cars excel at different things. The S197 Mustangs don't handle nearly as poorly as they should given their heft and solid rear axle. The twins are almost in a class of their own as the only similar car in the market is a 2 seat miata. I wanted my next car to del more connected to the road like my old ae86's and 240's so I ended up with an fr-s. More fun than the mustang, cheaper insurance (for me) and should save me some money on gas.

Personally not attracted to the looks of the 2015 stangs although I love that they are doing with the gt350.
