Insurance varies more on location, amount driven and your personal profile than type of car driven.

But yes, averaging >25 mpg without even trying even with sticky tires and me driving like an idiot. And with many parts being shared with various Toyota's and Subaru's parts will likely be cheaper if/when they break.
Last oil and filter change ran me around 90 from valvoline. Full synthetic with filter.

Educate OP on definition of F.I. and he will inform you of a time frame for said thing.

Turbo/supercharger = Forced Induction

From what you have said so far I would say odds are against. You had the "more power" and saw the drawbacks.

Forced induction. A supercharger or turbocharger. There are great kits out for both of them, if you want to go that way.

It's a consideration, but I like naturally aspirated, would never want any lag and reliability is key. I'd have to do a lot more research and educate myself before moving to forced induction

Or OP could just buy one and ship it to me. Seems like the right thing to do.

OP:

Did you by chance test drive the NEW Mustangs? If so ... curious how it compared with your prior GT.

It's a whole new car, wonderful to drive. I'd recommend it to someone over a 14 mustang any day.

Yet you went with the FRS so that says volumes.

It's personal taste. I love big v8 cars, but I miss having a lightweight sports car. And for the same total money I could make the frs a lot faster in every aspect. Plus the end price. I got a really, really good deal for the frs.

Then if you go this route you will want a supercharger, not a turbocharger, as superchargers eliminate lag (the lag in a turbocharger is caused by it being powered by exhaust gases, while a supercharger is powered by the crankshaft).

As far as reliability, well, that all depends on the quality of the installation and how much you want to pump up the boost. A relatively modest bump should not have a large impact on reliability. if you start trying to get 400HP out of your engine though, you are going to have to start looking at other internals.

If I wanted over 400bhp I'd swap for an ls motor, but I think that might be overkill haha. And I know a supercharger would be the way to go, I just wouldn't know where to start. For now I'll just enjoy it as is

That's why I haven't taken MomHawk to test drive one. She is very happy with her low mileage '05 Mustang (she only drives about 6,000 a year in her DD) so no reason to create a need...
