So - just to resurrect this thread - On the Innovative Temp/Pressure gauge - starting in the 60-70 range is normal, and idle at around 20 is also ok? Sensor is located in a sandwhich plate under the filter above the oil cooler plate.

That startup reading low. I get over 100 on cold start and it usually stays there for a while. 70's cruising the freeway with oil at operating temp. Idle around 13psi at temp. Same gauge, I replaced my OEM pressure sending unit with the innovate one on the front of the timing cover driver side.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to play around with it. Brand new engine build right now, haven't taken it out of the garage - all cold idling so far.

Hopefully this weekend.

60-70 psi seems too low for a cold start.
With 0W-20 oil + sensor in the sandwich plate, I'm around 110 psi on a cold start idle. It does go down to 90psi after a few minutes though if I continue to let the car idle.

I guess now that I look at the video, the car was slightly warm from my previous start / idle tests.
