Wish I was more computer literate and I would post up some 2013 Limiteds with low less than 10k miles for under 17 that weren't wrecks. But just for comparison why in the world would someone pay 24.5 for a 2013 or 26k for a 2014 when here the advertised price is 27093 for one that lists for 29089 new for a 2015. $2500 less for a car that is used and three years old or $1000 less for one that is 2 years old. The ones I am talking about are all new 2015 Limiteds with 6MT actually you can google Hudiburgh Subaru in Okc and look for your self. Just my 2 cents

I think you'll find if you called and asked, the actual prices for those new BRZ limiteds will all be above the MSRP. Mine was. Dealers add extra to the prices due to demand.
In any case, we're talking apples to oranges here, as mine is a modified, developed 2013, with only 5000 miles, and over 20 grand of extras. You couldn't come close to buying a new car and making the same changes as my car for $27,000, or even $37,000. If you feel differently, please go do so. |

Me also!! Most car sales, unless you just walk-in and buy it are open to negotiation at least when I go to sell something I ask more than I expect to take because I know its going to be a negotiation. But thanks I now understand that you expect to get exactly that price.

My car had a sticker with MSRP price, and then the dealer tacked on another 3 grand "just because they could".
I should have waited, but I was trading in a car with issues and didn't want to drive the old car (tires were corded, probably wouldn't have made it home-needed a bunch of money thrown at it NOW). That however is not factoring into what I'm asking for the car, I just think the price I set is a good, very low price for what someone is getting for the car and all the work I did. It's more than a car with a lot of bolt-ons, it's "developed" with an aim towards running on road race courses/track days/AX, and do those things with no heat issues or issues of any kind. I made changes to the front and the skidplate so air exits better, and set the fans so they stay on ALL the time, so no melting fans or anything. Radiator was custom mounted 2" forward for extra clearance and no heat issues. I got all the "premium" parts (FB premium turbo kit with V-band clamps and GTX2867r turbo upgrade, bigger Tial wastegate and BOV), FULL 3" front/overpipe to Tomei 80r exhaust. Diff bushings, big clutch. Hydra standalone was $2000, Hydramist meth injection was another G. All the performance mods are such that the car has the potential to make a LOT more power, it has the bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, bigger turbo. With a wastegate spring change and a tune it'll make 350whp on 91 with the methanol injection, and 450whp on E85. I can drive to the track, run all day, have fun, and drive home. I had plans to go to "stage 2" and "stage 3", and if I don't buy the Pantera I'm probably going to send the car off to Element Tuning for a 9k rpm monster racing engine. |

Thanks for the bump!
The price is slightly negotiable, but just slightly, very slightly. If it doesn't sell, no harm, no foul. Funny thing is the BRZ is probably faster than the Pantera race car that I'm buying. |

I'm into mid-engined cars. I have a thing for gearboxes too.
Knowing that I'll be owning my own ZF transaxle makes me feel all good inside. Same exact gearbox used in the GT40. I think a modern version is used on the new Ford GT's as well. In 5-10 years though, the Pantera will be worth more. I told myself my next purchase was going to be something that appreciated over time, not depreciated. |
