I'd much prefer not adjusting the pressure between the window and the seal, as this pressure is a part of the design to minimize wind noise and water entry. It is very possible to create additional problems rather than resolving the original problem.

It would be best if the window glass simply slid by the seal during closure/roll up, as it was designed.

Anyone thought about using dry lube or polishing the glass? I haven't run into this problem yet, but I almost never roll down my windows...

Tried a few different lubricants with little success.

wind noise is a lot more apparent now... guess it`s a matter of time before water starts to make its way in... i`m really pissed off about this. my bugeye with its original window seal for 200k miles never had issues like this.

My Halifax dealer sprayed silicone on my seals and gave me the rest of the can to do some more applications and it seems to have worked. Looks like I caught it before the seal got too raw. Once the dealer silicone is gone I'm going to pick up some Honda Shin-Etsu and apply regularly.
