Due to the oil leak being on the front passenger side of the motor I am finally getting it into another dealership on saturday. I got my car on a lift and it doesn't seem to be leaking from the cam plate... yet. It actually looks like the head gasket is leaking (I know it's a subaru) so the dealership has a set in stock just encase that is the issue.

I fixed mine but I think my setup is a little different from stock 86s. I have a t-fitting oil line running on top of the cam cover and that's where the oil was leaking. All I had to do was retape with teflon tape

Any ideas on where it might be leaking from? My friend says it's the valve cover, I say it's either the timing belt cover or the block behind the valve cover', where the valves and valve springs meet.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
