17x9 is just fine. These fenders are wide, I'd only worry about the spring perch in front. I'm on 17x8 +48 w/ 225s (MPSS) and the tires have just a few mm clearance on the inside with about a degree of camber (bolt on bottom for the most possible clearance). I can't fit even my pinky finger between the tire and spring perch.

On stock springs, I had 17x9 +28 w/235s (Federals...so more like a 245 in other brands). The front was a bit pokey, but I didn't have the camber bolts back then. That would have made them look better. I think +35 in that same size would be ideal. Many list a +42 as proper offset for 9" on stock suspension, but looking at my car, there's no way that's going to work. Maybe if I went back to 0 camber...HA!

I keep looking at the Rota Titan, myself. 17x9 +42 and I'll use a 3-5mm spacer if needed. Pretty light for a cheap wheel and you can get a set for $7xx from WheelDude.

searched that forum and found one set of 17x9 regas from january...and it was asking for $2k. and it was 5x114.3. and it was +18.

not 1200. wrong bolt pattern. way too aggressive offset.

not even close.

Just curious....are you wanting the option of running 225s and or 245s for a performance application or just for looks?

What are your goals for wheel/tire combo?

He offered them to me directly, they weren't a public post.

That post shows you all the sizes available for the wheels. They made them in 17x8 and 17x7 in 5x100. You should be able to fit the 5x114.3 with an adapter depending on the offset and width with a little math. The 5x100 sets can be had for cheap because of the application possibilites.
