Wouldn't it be easier to just PS the picture they're requesting? But in seriousness - not surprised you got pulled over for it as I thought anything applied over the headlights that isn't clear is illegal in most states. Being from Cali, I'm a bit surprised you haven't been pulled over for it until now. It seems like the cops down there often dish out tickets for stuff like that.

i should've typed "/joke" in that post....

i just found it hilarious that the OP considered 25-30 middle age.

I mean I consider middle age starts when children that were born while you were in highschool, are graduating highschool. If that makes sense.

the cop asking me to remove it before 6/18 and take a picture to the court show it is been removed. anyone had this problem beside me??
Take a picture? Fix it tickets in CA need to be signed off by an LEO. Double check the ticket and maybe go speak to a clerk at the court to double check. I know for window tint I get it signed off, take it to the clerk, pay a processing fee and am done. Never see the inside of a courtroom.

Want yellow headlights? Get yellow bulbs. It's the colored tint that is the issue here, not the actual color emitted...

It's because a lot of the guys with these "tuner" cars (240sx, Civics, Sentras, and now that they're getting more affordable, WRX, STI, Evo, etc) are very young and of the "stance" mindset. "Give me your honest opinions! But if you don't like it, don't give me your opinion."

Fix it tickets require a sign off from a LEO who has to see that you have corrected the illegal equipment.

Not having a front plate, tinted front windows, non-CARB approved modifications to the engine are all illegal. Just because you never been ticketed doesn't make it legal. You just have to piss off the right cop.
