![]() The guys on webbike are not bias and are riders too. I personally like the fit and feel of the Shoei X-11 but like the designs of the Arai lids. Shoei has small amounts of detail that Arais don't. Example: -Shoei uses alcantara in most of the inner liner where Arai will use it in the cheek pads and neck area. -The Arai visor changing mechanism is different than Shoei b/c it sits behind side pods where Shoei visor covers the outside. -The ventilation system is more noticable than the Arai -The X-11 has a rear lip to stablize the head (OGK FF5 and Suomy now design it too). Arai now offers it with the GP5 Here is the Corsair V http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...rai-corsair-v/ Here is the RX7 Corsair IV http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/537/18...ir-Review.aspx Shoei X-11 http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/shoei/x-eleven/ OGK FF5 ![]() Suomy Spec 1R ![]() Arai Corsair V

I'm sure there are quite a few other racers on here. Biggie and OldSkool at least. Quote:
2- Pics... hmmm. Those would be lying around in boxes somewhere at home (hint, I've been living elsewhere for the last 5 years). If you'd spring me a ticket I'd be more than happy to get em and scan em for you

find an interesting quote:
"The technology was first used in the BMW 750 in the late 1980s as a performance enhancement for heel-and-toe race-style driving..." http://auto.howstuffworks.com/car-dr...de-systems.htm Anyone can explain why the brake override system was originally for heel-and-toe, and how it actually helps heel-and-toe? Thanks |
