The limited model comes with Tyrion Lannister the youngest son of Lord Tywin Lannister with his sword hidden in the trunk.

What do you mean by "repeat"? And do you mean keyless entry, or pushbutton start like the Limited has?

Keyless entry like the premium has is completly seperate from the the chip in the key that disables the immoblizer letting you start the car. I'm assume the fob on the limited uses the same signal for both but maybe not.

So... anyone get any closer to figuring out what the heck "security" means? I'm trying to look at other models of Subaru like the WRX limited etc, and comparing it to the base but can't quite seem to find info on what it could be yet besides what Jeff alluded towards (though ... doesn't quite seem like security to me lol).

That's like a salesman selling you that the car's key is a one off security device that is not seen anywhere else! lol Raising the flag...

Keyless entry systems typically work by sending a low-powered signal from the car to your key fob, with the two working only when they're near each other, but you can intercept and extend that signal via antennas acting as repeaters, resulting in your key activating your car even when it's nowhere near it. The signal-repeating antennae have to be pretty close to both the key and the car. Materials for the wired attack cost about $50, and those for the wireless attack cost between $100 and $1,000, depending on the electronic components used. I'm only pointing out that it is possible to steal keyless cars

^Key signal repeating/replay is worthless even for garage door openers these days. This is not to say that cracking those is impossible, especially older ones. But it is certainly not $50 worth of equipment. And much more than $1000 for a new car.
