That's so weird to see Hot Boyz referred to as "old school" since I'm 29 and remember when they were the hotness back in high school. haha

Most states have pretty strict laws on just reflective tint. Chrome your body and you'll have state police all over your rear with several thousand dollar fix-it tickets :V

Lol I have no intention of chroming the exterior of my car. Just like the look of it no law agents that.

Seems like an interesting idea. I've wanted to do a big project of putting in a lot of the JPM Coachworks alcantara parts.

They're all ready for you, then! I've been trying to have them do leather, but apparently it's much more difficult than Alcantara. I'm trying to replace the Alcantara on the seats. Not a fan.

I was a little wary, but I've really grown to love it. No ass sweat in the summer. Although, after doing PT in the morning it does soak up more smell, but that's pretty easily fixed.

Well tried the Stretch Chrome on the Shifter ring last night... yeeaa it didn't go as well as I hoped. The Stretch Chrome is good but there's just to may curves on the shifter piece it shows up too many wrinkles. I'm still going to try the door handles and the peaces around the knee pads. But for the shifter, dash, and A/C rings I'm going to Plasti dip them just not sure witch color will looks better

It's gonna look stupid as fuck.. Also you're going the WRONG direction. It looks much better when you make all those pieces BLACK.

I went down a similar path (chrome wrap, etc) and the results have been VERY good. Definitely OEM+ and most have been quite complimentary about the changes. I'll post pics for you in a bit.

Here's what I did:
Black + Glossifier = Radio surround, Dash trim, Shifter surround
Black + Chrome wrap = HVAC "bars" (black on front, chrome on interior sides facing the HVAC knobs).
Anthracite + Glossifier = Door handle trim, Vent surround

End result unifies many of the different shades of black in the car into just two. The anthracite pieces break up what would be a sea of black in a very subtle way. The small bit of chrome brings the chrome from the door handle pulls and upper vent tabs down into the interior.

All that is left for me is to address the brushed chrome on the steering wheel Scion badge. Pics soon.

Tip 1) Put on at least 4 coats of PlastiDip per trim piece so it is thick enough to peel off later.

Tip 2) If you let the PlastiDip cure 1 day before washing the car it will last forever. Mine has been washed cleaned multiple times with no signs of wear whatsoever.
