BRZ Project: changing interior silver pieces to chrome

Ok right now I'm in the planing stage but I'm looking at making the silver accent pieces (circled in red) into chrome pieces by using this stuff Strech Chrome Film. Its decently priced compared to getting each individual piece chrome plated. Once I get everything I need I post pics of it finished.

The song "Blinded" comes to mind just thinking of this... Interested in seeing the pics though!

You'll blind yourself on a sunny day... I cringe my eyes even on the traction buttons.

I agree. Try a little piece first and see how bad the glare is and if you like it. I just don't know if the interior of these cars scream chrome... Carbon fiber would look better IMHO.

Well truth be told I'm think the only parts I'll try it on is either the door handle pieces or the shifter ring. The dash part I'd either do Alcantara or paint it black depends on my budget. I wish I lived closer to places where I can go and buy this stuff instead buying on line and waiting.

Yea, but on a really hot and sunny day they might reflect heat somewhere else and start burning something up no one likes a melted interior part.

lol I'm not going all bling bling with it just adding some chrome to areas that I think need a chrome look. plus this stuff couldn't focus the light enough to burn anything also I'm planing on tinting my windows and I use a sun visor when parked.

None of it is set in stone, if I don't like it I can remove it.

def interested in seeing the chrome, door handles look sick when their not messed up by greasy hands, might look good on the other trim. seems like you could just rip off the wrap if you don't like it, looks like a win-win to me

Don't follow the light! That's just your interior chrome drawing you off the road!
