I have been trying lol. seems to understeer alot for me. and in the rain, well good things did not happen in the rain.
anyone have any advice? just keep practicing? different tires? get some arms and a better alignment? i feel like i should be able to get it sideways no easily but enough if i get good enough. its the only thing keeping me from upgrading |

I have been known to drift the occasional corner.
The only known casualty so far is a bag of popcorn.

There are videos available on how to. I used to simply clutch kick my 240 but a lot of people use speed or handbrake it. Since I am still in break in period I have only handbraked it so far. Worked great.

Why'd you choose FRS if you prefer sticking to the road? There are plenty of other sport cars that grip better.

Something like that, but more so a hybrid style (grip-drift)..I hardly ever use the handbrake really not my forte. As of right now it's not in an fr-s but an 86 Starion snail powered so when I do get into one of these I'll be changing up the dynamics a little. Luckily the weight distribution in both are identical so that's a good start.

Yes! I love the S13 for drifting. It's much more customizable platform and they sound a lottt better when you hear them revving up high and tearing up tires. The FRS is like a baby compared to the S-chassis or the original AE86 in drifting. I give it about 5 years until the FRS/BRZ will be at the level of the S-chassis. The thing that kills is the lack of aftermarket besides simple bolt ons.
