Well mine is a daily driver. I'd prefer to have all the benefits but none of the downsides. If I could get rid of some resonating vibration on deceleration that moves like a wave from the front to the rear of the cabin, then that'd be awesome.

I agree.

I don’t want track-car-level vibrations, harshness or noise, so the bushing is perfect in that regard, as it just provides enough.

Installed this over the weekend using the "easy" method. Got a chance to test it today in the canyons.

The good:

- Significant reduction in drivetrain slop, even more than the Whiteline diff cradle/outrigger inserts (KDT925). There is no slop in the drivetrain anymore with these two inserts together.

- Shifter feels a bit more solid. Not a huge difference.

- Increased exhaust noise inside the car from 4000-7600 rpm. Sounds more throaty/brassy with my Perrin 2.5" resonated and 2017+ OEM header. Was not expecting this, but a friend drove my car and noticed the same thing. Guess it makes sense with the exhaust piping hanging off it.

- Increased whine from the trans. I personally like the sound.

The bad:

- More vibrations in the car in hard acceleration. I can hear my shifter rattling a little more and a small rattle started in my headliner somewhere. Not a huge deal.

- More mechanical noise near idle. Not horrible, but not pleasant either.

- The clunk going into 1st gear from a stop is more pronounced.

Overall I really like this part, but I mainly use my car for track and canyons. Definitely recommend if you want to get rid of drivetrain slop. Pair it with the diff cradle inserts.

Im waiting on a shipping confirmation of a complete SuperPro bushing set. EVERYTHING. All the control arms and subframe. Then separately I got front and rear sway bar bushings with new links, the "street" 80k diff bushing and trans insert. Being a driveway mechanic, Ive only done the rear swaybar bushings so far. Just that has made a huge difference in on-the-limit characteristics.

For me that become even worse with the rear subframe inserts (did them after the transmission insert and rear bushing). Then the diff inserts eliminated the clunk entirely.

I had a new clutch put in a month or so back and added the Perrin rear shift bushing and Whiteline gearbox trans mount bushing. Now I get some bad bucking on occasion launching in first. I did put a stage 2 South Bend clutch in. BTW, this is an Exedy part, not top end w/ steel housing. Bucking seems worse when warm, so I'm curious if the rubber bits are warming up and getting softer.

I also just had an HKS SC installed shortly after the clutch. Now I can feel a lot more movement in everything with the added torque. I won't mind more NVH if I can make this issue go away. But is it all in this trans mount or elsewhere?

Quick update: I've been really enjoying this mod the past few weeks. The reduction in drivetrain slop is nice and the additional sound (especially above 4000 RPM) is great. One of my favorite bang for the buck mods at $35.

I took a quick audio recording in case anyone was wondering what it sounded like:
