Nice! My dad had a '70 Nova, a '56 Bellaire, and a '46 Plymouth. The only vintage vehicle he kept was his '72 Harley Davidson Superglide.

I've had plenty of rear-drive cars in the past, and one currently [though it's MR]. Having an FR isn't necessarily the quickest layout, but it's something special, somehow very pure, and very enjoyable.

I have only owned RWD and 1 AWD

I wish my mom didn't make my dad get rid of his Fiero GT. He also had a Chevy II 327 back on the day. Sold it cause he couldn't get gas for it and has been kicking himself ever since.

I would guess it was during the gas shortages back in the 70's. Kinda hard to justify a gas guzzler when you don't know when your next fill up is going to be.

Aaah thanks. Wasn't around during that (but obviously have heard stories). Just wasn't sure what the poster meant by it.

Nice! I would love to get my hands on a project TE27 Mango! They sure don't make Toyotas like they used to thats for sure.

My Dad's KE30 was a mustard yellow color w/brown interior. Who would have thought that thing would have been a classic b/c as kids of the 80's that car was the center of all jokes.

Thsi will be my first RWD car as well... I own a tC now, had a 93 Nissan NX & I been waiting for Toyota/Scion to come out with one for years. Supra's & "Hachi-broku" are hard to find now a days in good condition & not expensive. Im still big into Nissan as well with the 240's & Skylines. I love the new GT-R & R34.

Sir, that's a trademarked term to refer to my car specifically, sir.
