This is what I'm hearing. Over a month now, and no performance issues, so there's that at least.

The sound was coming from my boost solenoid. I had mounted it to the front core support, and when the evaporative emission purge circuit activated it, it made that knocking noise.
My tuner had initially left the purge circuit disconnected. A local shop had connected it when I had it in for something else. They returned it to its original state, and all seems to be well now. |
