As I understand it ...at this time
They email the tune to you once you give them your Dongle ID from their tuning kit...the kit with the low temp thermostat and air filter..the stage 2 tune does not physically come with the kit

..The key point being their tune was developed using the low temperature thermostat and their air filter. I assume they do not want to be liable for damage caused by some one using their stage 2 tune on a motor not set up the same as the one they developed the tune for.,,,,, and you know some one would try it.

Once again..I am not a Cosworth rep ...it's best to talk to the vendor you are thinking of purchasing the SC from...they will have the latest information.
Things are still evolving with this SC kit roll out. Being an early adopter I expected some bumps in the road.
This is correct with the addition of needing your transmission type, Stage number installed (e.g. Stage 2.3) and if cruise control is installed (as you already know Ernie) to receive the appropriate calibration file.

Cosworth is currently working on a web based portal that will allow customers to quickly retrieve specific files themselves.

Cheers.

I was highly disappointed with this kit when I saw the numbers, and the price. Finally pushed me to decide to go with a turbo kit instead.

That being said, the kit is gorgeous and hopefully by the time that I'm over 60k and ready for FI, they will squeeze more power out of this.

Can't wait to see your install!

Ernie?! Are you going to have Bert over to help you install it??

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I remember when i first saw the price tag on that kit, I was in sticker shock. After lots of reading I can see where all the value comes from though. I'm jealous to say the least. Awesome stuff, keep us updated.

Can't wait to watch your install progress and get some impressions on the kit! Definitely would love to purchase one...if only my bank account agreed with me.

I havent really looked, but is this kit upgradeable? I.e. smaller pulley, or swap to a bigger blower.

Will a strut bar fit over that manifold?

I like the look of the Cosworth kit (looks like it has better intercoolers than the Innovate kit, and putting the blower lower down seems like a nice touch), but I don't know if I like the look of it $2000 more than I like the look of the intercooled Innovate kit. Also, I assume there's no CARB exemption for the Cosworth kit, which is kind of a potential deal-breaker in California.

Hey JerryIII,

I do not see any posts on how you like the car with the kit on. Maybe you can share with us what has been the experience of owning a Cosworth Supercharger?
