Some of us work in environments where mudflaps keep 5 pounds of dirt off our door panels each week. I don't do it to look rally, I do it because it's practical.

I get it; nothing happened, right? Can't even find the border...
I had opportunities to go back and forth between western New York state and Ontario (mainly Toronto) in the early 1990s. At that time it was a pretty informal process to cross the border. It went like this: "Where ya goin'?" Me: Toronto. Guard: "What's your business there?" Me: Pleasure visit. Guard: "How long will you be there?" Me: Two days. Guard: "OK, drive through." Not these days, I guess. Oh, wait, I didn't notice the tree lines at first -- I can assure you that western New York (especially Buffalo) looked just like the other side (Ontario) in the winter.

Both countries are trying to protect their job markets so they will ask 1000 questions to make sure you are not taking work away from somebody. I used the border meme to illustrate that Toyota apparently thinks snow stops in Canada since we get the heated mirrors and mudflaps as standard and even the northern States do not.
