you will probably have to do a bit of reading on maf scaling.

Do some logging , fill in attached spreadsheet

OTS tunes scale the maf sensor, but you wont be <2% fueling error unless you log and log and log, and scale your maf yourself.

Maf scaling isn't "one size fits all", it should be fine tuned on an individual basis.

below is a screencast that explains what paramaters to log and how to fill in the Yikes spreadsheet posted by Steve99.

[QUOTE=Grip Ronin;1650122]how do i disable LTFT?? these things are being a real pain. they go lean down low and rich up top. theyre really screwing with me[/QUOTE

You can disable them by turning LTFT min/max values to 0 but as others have said the best way to resolve this is MAF scaling. It's simple one you know how, just a bit time consuming.]

ya im getting -3.9 % recently at wot and 7% on some cruising situations. this video doesnt mention how he got it locked into closed loop during full throttle pulls. it does seem quite complicated

I don't believe he did , he just logged cl/ol as a parameter and filtered the results on either cl or ol

but its always open loop when applying throttle so I would never get a good reading for full throttle

I don't understand. Open loop MAF changes are the easiest to do. Compare AFR out plus trim to the commanded AFR. End product is the MAF error.

The reason you have different LTFT is that there are 4 bands of corrections. Look in the AF Learning tables in the ROM.

Yeap, the equation you showed before threw off a few people due to your use of syntax. What mad_sb said was what helped me to put everything together. It is heaps easier to do than the close loop stuff.

As for Grip Ronin, I think you could benefit by reading up on romraider before mucking around with things like you did before.

i have been reading up there for weeks, i normally only changed fuel and timing advance but i think its after this high pressure fuel pump was change i started getting crazy lft. or maybe it was the sound tube delete..

You see, I am not sure what you meant by "changed fuel" since you are having fuel trim problems.

Airflow ranges are the bands of LTFT. On Romraider they are usually referred to as A to D. On the stock ROM the last band is 60g/s+

The LTFT are set between each of those. Here's a stock table for reference:

So you'll have one LTFT set for:
A: 1.6 - 5g/s
B: 5 - 12 g/s
C: 12 - 20g/s
D: 20 - 60g/s
E: 60g/s +

There may even be one set for under 1.6g/s but I'm not sure on that. That's why you get sudden changes in LTFT as you pass through the different areas. I know that some of the Subaru lot increase the last boundary to stop LTFT occurring during WOT, you just need to work out the maximum CL airflow and make it larger than that. However, you will only want to do this once you know that the OL fuelling is as you want it.
