How do you get those rear elbow bolts off, I'm going to get a different set of allen keys but mine via a socket and extension had no chance.

The first thing I noticed when I took mine off was how cheap those bolts were. They work but it wouldn't be a bad idea to switch for some higher grade bolts.

Also both of my plastic fittings move around like the wind blowing, it looks like they included some replacement ones in my part bag, although plastic again. Any suggestions on sealing them? I don't want them on too tight where they could snap.
Yeah. I added Teflon and probably got another full rotation out if it. You have to take the middle brass elbow out to give enough room to twist the plastic elbows. Still tight a few thousand miles later.

Innovate Supercharger Owners Topic

Does anyone else get a bit of hesitation upon normal acceleration around 3-3.5k? I seem to be getting a bit while under normal/ increased throttle. Maybe the charger is just transitioning from bypass into boost?

Edit: I've never had a supercharged car so maybe it's just the transition between the bypass valve on the back of the charger going from open to closed.

Also, @ZDan and @CSG David I'm guessing this is within your realm, what's your opinion.
Just going down the line of thought really off the top of my head since I'm running around like a headless turkey getting some errands performed:

Looks like low grade bolts that can only hold very low torque values (captain obvious). Also the heat can cause the bolts to weaken (highly unlikely). I'm not familiar with that particular location right now (brain clogged).

What is the fastener material? Will have to look at the vibrational frequencies that can possibly cause the cap screws to back out as well. Other plausible case to reduce potential galling and torquing the bolt head is add some form of anti-seize (Permatex anti-seize?).

yes, i figured it was something to do with the tune. mine's usually bogging (just how it feels to me) around 2.8-3.2k rpm.

also: i'm trying to search for a manual tensioner (yes, i spelled it wrong before on purpose) so that i won't have to worry about that part, and there's also a little bit of wiggle in my idler pulley too. these are probably 2 of the big reasons i keep losing belts.
