Is there any chance to make a twin scroll with the same placement as the AVO kit? The high front mount location just has too many heat issues on this platform.

I was thinking something along these lines as well, but with placement more like the P-Tuning kit. Seems like it would be possible to do it just like that with a v-band twinscroll housing on the GT30 frame turbo.

That is exactly what I am looking for. That would be an ideal setup for this platform.

I also prefer a rear mounted turbo but not low like PTuning but more like D3PE to avoid the use of oil pumps and the potential of road debris taking it out or even getting it salty or dirty.

The AVO placement keeps the under tray so no worries about road debris. Have you noticed how clean these engine bays stay!?

True but the Avo uses an oil scavenging pump which I don't trust. If you mounted higher you don't have to use one.

Very true. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Added complexity especially with the oiling system is not a good thing. That D3PE kit may be the ticket. Good balance of placement and function. The biggest issue is it lists over $6k on their site.

I'm still incredibly interested to see how these kits shape up for those who have purchased them.

Like many others have already posted, I'm curious to see how they manage the heat. From what I've read, twin scrolls are supposed to be more efficient in regards to heat stroke, as well as transient response/larger area under the curve.

With the turbo being mounted so high, I'm thinking a vented hood would be a great solution, provided that it has a way to displace water properly (to keep water off the engine/turbo when it rains). Just thinking ahead...

At any rate, keep us updated guys!

Keep in mind that you get more with the D3pe kit than some others, such as injectors and fuel pump~ Although like P-Tuning, there is no manifold included = cats before turbo :/
