Dyno 3/14/13

Car made 405hp 330tq at 16psi on E85. Had some issues with the car after the dyno so we will not be in the shootout. Still more on it at these boost levels. Had a lot of little bugs that we are working through with the tuning. Werent able to control the exh cam so a new EMS box is in route

That looks very nice! Are you planning to release this for mass consumption?

Its a Billet Wheel Dual Ball Bearing Precision 51mm turbo rated for 525hp. Size wise it would be in the middle of a GT2871 and GT3071

Sick. I love the design of the exhaust manifold. The production pieces look good, and fitment is nice. Now for more details like the oil lines. The sound is going to be very interesting, in a good way.

The only concern I have is whether the turbo is too close to the oil filter and associated plumbing, but I'm no expert.

A nice thing about AZ is you don't have to worry about the stealth factor!

The cold side is actually closer than the hot side so no worries about that. Photos dont show it that well but we will have more as we proceed. This will be track tested so it will reach extreme heats. As with any of out turbo manifold we always offer a thermal coating option.

As for the stealth look, we are leaving in the grill. It wont look like your typical intercooler especially since we didn't take the normal route of the piping. The intercooler should look like a shiny radiator  Our goal was to keep the piping as minimal as possible to aid with response and spool

Looks great.
Is the AEM a plug and play or are you guys wiring it in?

DriftEightSix 02-28-2013 08:09 AM

How come your going with AEM rather then editing the stock ecu?
