Thanks fenton. So it works under WOT only ? Is it possible to dyno the car without going WOT ?
I am interested in seeing a normally driven condition power and torque curves ! Also To see how the system cope with low battery conditions. I appreciate your works and results |

I can see the future of these Electric SCs!
someone needs to make those Carbon batteries prototyped by LG available now! they charge in seconds and they are super light. Last edited by nonicname; 06-29-2013 at 12:02 AM. |

Hmmmm.... Could be an excellent application for ultra-capacitors.

It's easy enough to read off on CAN/OBD2 with a raspberry pi or arduino that the ecutek isn't even necessary. I get really fast response reading both (when watching just a few PIDs. You could handle the whole thing probably with an arduino alone if you had a schematic for the speed controller from the kit.

I can't stop driving the car, it's just a blast to go part throttle up to 3500 rpm and matt it, at 4500 rpm we are up 60 HP from stock. Took the fiancé out for a drive today..... I got the "what happened to this car it feels like the subaru" my last car was a stage 1 2011 sti sedan. :-) Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |

Pretty cool, I was definitely skeptical at first but glad to see the results!
BTW, love the haters on the thread for the first half, then dyno results, then silence from the haters. |

However I'd love to have a TEC setup to power the electrical system. That would be pretty neat, and if you're careful you could get such a contraption pretty close to the weight of a bigger alternator. Maybe in a few years we'll be able to buy such a thing, or at least get the parts to put one together. |

Keep in mind this is with the addition of maybe 5 pounds because the stock battery is replaced with the triple battery.

What IAT's are you logging?
And when is someone going to make a proper controller for it so you can have turbo speed/pressure controlled by tps/rpm? |
