Needs to be a digital output

Thanks fenton. So it works under WOT only ? Is it possible to dyno the car without going WOT ?

I am interested in seeing a normally driven condition power and torque curves ! Also To see how the system cope with low battery conditions.

I appreciate your works and results

I can see the future of these Electric SCs!
someone needs to make those Carbon batteries prototyped by LG available now!
they charge in seconds and they are super light.

Sounds like LG makes those batteries...

Hmmmm.... Could be an excellent application for ultra-capacitors.

It's easy enough to read off on CAN/OBD2 with a raspberry pi or arduino that the ecutek isn't even necessary. I get really fast response reading both (when watching just a few PIDs. You could handle the whole thing probably with an arduino alone if you had a schematic for the speed controller from the kit.

I realize that's alot more complicated and more money, it's just awesome to dream about where this technology can go in the near future.
Well you can feel it kick on its not like BAM 190 ft pd. I'm just trying to stress that it's no where near a turbo where there is 1 to 2 seconds lag.

You hit the switch and it spools right away.

The videos that I'm going to work on this weekend will show normal driving. This system is on demand. When you want it you push it down and you are greeted by a heard of magically Internet unicorns haha :-)

I can't stop driving the car, it's just a blast to go part throttle up to 3500 rpm and matt it, at 4500 rpm we are up 60 HP from stock.

Took the fiancé out for a drive today..... I got the "what happened to this car it feels like the subaru" my last car was a stage 1 2011 sti sedan. :-)

Pretty cool, I was definitely skeptical at first but glad to see the results!

BTW, love the haters on the thread for the first half, then dyno results, then silence from the haters.

While you might consider exhaust gas very hot, it's not nearly as hot as the temperatures that fuel is typically burned at to generate power. To generate a significant amount of power one would need rather large heat exchangers.

However I'd love to have a TEC setup to power the electrical system. That would be pretty neat, and if you're careful you could get such a contraption pretty close to the weight of a bigger alternator. Maybe in a few years we'll be able to buy such a thing, or at least get the parts to put one together.

I was a hater / disbelieve too until I saw it perform on the dyno. This system is impressive for the investment for sure. We are talking almost 90tq and 60 HP in parts of the band for.... Not much at all.

Dollar to performance is through the roof on this one guys.... I'm pumped to be a part of this.

This is on the first installation with stock tune!

Keep in mind this is with the addition of maybe 5 pounds because the stock battery is replaced with the triple battery.

Going to visit the scale tomorrow

What IAT's are you logging?

And when is someone going to make a proper controller for it so you can have turbo speed/pressure controlled by tps/rpm?
