The $20 or so membership for LNT or similar is well worth the risk though IMO. I joined just in case but in the end I suspect I'll just be helping a good cause lol

True. Might not work the first year. But I doubt that it would be excluded for forever. Just have to wait for them to give the green light. I want to wait 1 year anyways so I'm good to wait.

Its a 15-20 bucks a month thing? I'm looking through their site and it sounds a lot trickier. That or I'm just making it seem a lot trickier. Lol

Edit: nvm. I found some pretty good organizations/associations. Lol

I agree. It is a good cause. We already have VIP program membership because of my wife's job.

I think ill start looking into this VIP thing. Subaru better wise up and make this eligible. Then you can squeeze the salesman a little on top of the discount.

Be careful with some of them.

I was going to support ASPCA instead of LNT but found to be eligible for Subaru VIP with them you have to do a monthly membership, not yearly (which they consider donations instead). Nothing against ASPCA but I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to then when I can just support local rescues with that money instead. Some others were like that as well so make sure you read the details on the various organizations partner pages and what defines "membership", etc.

I just posted about that one in the VIP thread. Haha.

This program looks pretty awesome tbh.

If I could I would actually volunteer over the summer.

Anything VIP type programs for canadian customers?

NOTE:For anyone in Canada who ALREADY owns a subaru. The girl at the finance office told me when calculating your AP rate, if it's NOT your first subaru finance you get 1% off standard APR's ..not a big deal i know..but it's $15-20 a month

Again.. I can't say this enough.. grain. of. salt.
No telescoping wheel in the FR-S? Dang! Even the tC has a telescoping steering wheel.

I am beginning to think what scion showed was truly based but not finalized...it did have the white tach...it was like a mix of low and high spec 86 but mostly low spec.

I think they will make some changes before production or allow you to get the options that you want.

Subaru is forcing me to go limited because of the seats and brake rotors.
But nothing is set yet..not until we get the final specs and options list.
If it was set they would have listed it out already.

We still got 6 months to go!

No we only have one month left until Detroit. All of our questions should be answered then.

Honestly I find it hard to believe that the Scion doesn't, but the guys who went to the Scion event tried it and are insistant that it does not have a telescopic wheel. It's not an expensive feature and IMO can improve driver comfort enough that it's an important feature for a performance car.

Same with me on the limited..

1.5 or so months before the US Spec release at Detroit. I will be absent from the forums so I can be surprised (happy or angry) when I see it in person instead of the forums lol
