Its funny cause it used to be normal. Cars broke down and we fixed them on the side of the road pretty much regardless of what it was. Never did a gearbox or clutch, but starters, bakes, fuel pumps (cause I drove Brit shit) and balljoints...yeah ![]() ![]() Not something you see anymore. Nowdays I whip out the phone, try to Google up a solution or post on a board for a solution then call the tow truck. While waiting for the truck I e-mail rock-auto for the parts so I can fix it at home. |

Nope! If so I would have just punched the clutch back into working order.

Well, kinda.....
I'm 52. I've had muscle cars and sport-y cars, but never a true two seater. Yesterday, I drove an FRS on an extended and solo test drive. I was really glad I did! The much longer ride, than the usually dealership around a few blocks, let me feel the affects of a highway ride, about 20 miles. It seems a bit rough for a daily driver. I assume the BRZ is much the same. I've driven the new WRX on a dealership short test drive. I guess the Genesis Coupe is next. At least that one has two different suspensions to choose. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |

I drive a lowered (on springs) FRS 14 hours a week. Is it a bit rough? Sure, but you get used to it and it is worth the (to me) minor ride quality concerns. The Genesis is a whole different beast but will indeed give you a smoother ride. If looking for a nice GT cruiser with a bit more power, a small increase in back seat, a much quieter cabin and a whole bunch of gadgets the Genesis is hard to beat really. The FRS (or BRZ if you want a bit more goodies) is not a great cruiser if you want smooth ride, quiet cabin or push you into the seats take offs. It does however give you an extremely satisfying driving experience and if you are in an area where there are not too many you will be stared at a lot. I can not speak to the WRX as I have never drove one but the guys that went to it are usually pretty happy.
