Any other Dinosaurs driving FRS?

Took a glance at the age and profession thread. Figured that with the over 40 gang being significant at 15%, I would not stand out as an anomaly driving this car at age 57.

Guess I was wrong eh?

Any other seasoned drivers out there? If so, are you a lifetime sports-car driver or late life indulgence? I am firmly in the first group having owned only one car with more than two seats. (I don't count the space behind me as "seats" in the FRS.)

Strangely enough he lives about 6 blocks away and I still have not got over there or even spotted him!
Hell, we may have went to school together.

Why don't you invite him over and have too many beers and try to out do each other with your uphill both ways in 8 feet of snow walking to school stories?

Geezers wondering why they haven't seen each other.

That's rich.

I said...

THE GEEZERS ARE WONDERING WHY THEY HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER.

The odd part is that of the handful I have ever seen in my (and Nohome's) city most were driven by "old" folks. Hell one was a little old lady by my standards and since I am also 57 that means she was freakin' old (she smoked me at the lights by the way).

So happens TCoat and I are in London. 8feet of snow would be a mild winter.

Besides, who walks to school, all the cool kids take the dog sled. As you can see, even in those days I could appreciate a low center of gravity.

Well, I was 52 when I had the FR-S. 53 now.

Can't say that I only like 2 seaters. Grew up with all sorts of cars and trucks. When I was a kid ... I had a Fiat X1/9. Talk about a go cart. More nimble than the FR-S.

Jeez, I'm only 69. What's a Dinosaur ? And what's a Sports-Car ? And No, I don't know how to drive an auto transmission. I bought the FRS because it just fits me, and also because it flies around corners. Late life indulgence, well, just one of numerous cars in a lifetime as a car nut.
