The Tial Inlet and down pipe flanges along with clamps has arrived today. I'm still waiting on my Mishimoto Intercooler. Fingers crossed that the intercooler will fit nicely under the crash beam.

Good news, should be starting the manifold fabrication on Monday. Going with unequal length to bring out the Subaru rumble that it deserves. The exhaust head flange is being laser cut out of 1/2 thick stainless steel.

Okay so we have some more progress.

The mishimoto intercooler has arrived and the piping route has been planned. I've decided to go with a superbright stainless steel tubing. Will be running a 2" tube from the compressor housing to the intercooler hot side. For the cold side, will be running 2.5" tubing, then increase to a 3" in the engine bay for the throttle body (will be lobster back welding). Hopefully this will be responsive.

All the fitting has been purchased for the oil line and water lines.

The mishimoto intercooler fits perfectly under the crash beam. Will need to make bracket to mount the intercooler. Really liking the black intercooler.

The oil pan has now been removed, an AN10 steel weld on fitting has been welded onto the oil pan for the turbo return line. I then went ahead to sand the oil pan down and gave it a fresh coat of paint.

We finally got the chance to start on the merge collector. A very talented mate of mine will be taking care of the cutting and welding of the manifold.

Its been a while since I posted. There hasn't been much update lately. We should be getting back at it this week and next week since my mate has arrived back in NZ from holiday. I have purchase the Turbosmart RacePort BOV and Turbosmart 40mm Wastegate. They are beautifully crafted.

Made a start on the cold side of the intercooler piping. Decided to make it out of superbrite stainless which is made into a lobster back to bring out the colour from welding. Image below is just tacked together.
