lol, stop scaring the kid.

there's plenty of cell phone cases that use magnets to keep them closed.

Magnet needs to be stronger and I made an 'X' pattern with the magnets. Stops it from turning on the axis.

Magnets are bad for old hard drives that use magnetic plates. Almost all cellphones use solid state memory that is not effect by magnets. Another thing people think will go wrong are the screens LEDs have no issues with magnets like older monitors. You'll be fine

Credit Cards also unaffected. Check the Amazon link from earlier reply reviews.

I think people are overreacting.

If you swipe a credit card across a rare earth magnet enough times, you can definitely erase it. I was being facetious, though. It's a cell phone mount.

To people saying that magnets are bad, they are not.
The myth comes from old technology hard drives. They're spinning platters that essentially use magnetism on a precision head to write data onto a platter.
Phone technology has no moving parts, solid state memory which are silicon chips that don't use the magnetic technology have replaced that old piece of tech.
Essentially the "magnets damaging your electronics" comes from old habits and don't really apply towards new tech.
They only that that may be affected is the compass feature on your phone depending on what piece of tech is powering the compass. Magnets are safe around your modern smart phone.

EDIT: Forgot to say that's pretty damn stealthy. It's seriously something I'd consider if I get a case for my phone. And props up to realizing/ finding out that there's enough space for the magnet inside.
