I'd rethink the ride height if you're actually looking for it to handle decently still. 2.5" is a lot of drop without getting into geometry correction.

I would aim for about 1.5", more front camber than rear (how much depends on skill level, driving mix, and tire choice, etc). A conservative start would be -2*F, -1.5*R. You'll need camber correction parts to hit both numbers.

For tires, what do you want from them? How much are you willing to spend? How much non track/autox driving do you do?

To give you an idea in terms of camber and wheel size. My setup is 18x9.5 with 255/35 tires. I have -0.5 up front and -1.5 rear. very minimal camber. No rub issues. Im dropped on coilovers just over an inch. Im going to go lower and will need more camber up front but In your case with a smaller setup you shouldn't need to worry about losing function while fitting a 235/45 size tire. I daily drive my car and find it very functional.

I found bfg sport comp 2's in 245/40. I'm almost certain I'm going with those and figuring the rest out later.

In the reviews I read, the side wall is a little loose but the price, tread wear and performance scores were enough to sway me. That and the wet traction is supposedly pretty above average. Sounds good for a more of an aggressive DD tire with occasional track duty. I had them on my rsx but never got to push them in the month of owing them before i was hit/totalled. Felt great as far as what daily driving can show though.

As far as height/camber I now have a general idea of what's what. I'll play with it until I get it where it meets both goals.

Thanks to all who offered their time and advice. I'll be referring back to this when everything gets here.
