Yup. They also sucked balls on one of my 240's.

They werent that bad on my 240, but then again I had gr2's installed at the same time so I never had the chance to see how they were stock.

And with this car I don't want it slammed so i might go with something mild as far as springs. Either H. Techs, Eibach, or Tanabe.

They're pretty good on my R33 (with bilsteins).

You really can't judge by the product name - all s-techs are different (actually there are even different models for each car). I'd still recommend coilovers like KW.

I wouldn't get the Teins. I had them on a couple of my old 94-99 Celicas and they were perfect, but for the ZN6 I would stay with Eibach or RCE.

not ture. Tein just installed their S-tech spring on my BRZ last week with STOCK struts...

i dont know if the 18" will fit.

the car runs firm. the suspension was able to damped most bumps with just one oscillation.

What a lot of people miss out on is using cheaper sub $1000 coil overs, your really not getting added handling unless you properly align and corner balance. Sure you can get them stiff, and 'feel' like its on rails, but in reality handling limits would be compromised. Either get a solid spring-shock combo or quality coil overs.
This man speaks the truth. well said

Wait for SWIFT Springs USA; will be high quality; including, they are completely linear springs, giving you the most handling predictability, they use less material which results in less un-sprung mass, & SWIFT generally has a great track record for suspension =D

Any progressive rate spring like the S-Techs I usually consider as a for looks only kinda thing; some people may like that feeling, but a linear spring simply gives you a more direct feeling

You do know that the stock springs are also progressive, right?
