Lay your groundwork first. Learn to control the car, then start with things like tires, alignment, brake pads, and gradually go towards suspension work, wheels, more agressive alignment and brake pads, and eventually when you learn your car you can consider more power.

Some great responses here.

OP: It's about what you want out of your car, let us know what you like to do with the car and we can suggest further.
If you choose your mods carefully based on YOUR preferences, then you can get great bang for your buck.

I went with a track upgrade path, and while I could have spent much more money, the upgrade path has paid off in reduced laptimes. So it's about thinking through each upgrade and also if that upgrade works well with the future mods. (i.e. OFT, then header)
