My exhaust bolts were all fucked up from the factory. 4 or 5 of them snapped from trying to remove with a breaker bar and I had to grind the back side off.

I installed my muffler delete over the weekend, the bolts were tough as hell to break loose but I managed to do it without any sort of lubricant or breaker bar. Like everyone else said though, impact gun or a breaker bar/rubber mallet.

...if you want to break stuff. You won't find air tools being used in shops that work on high end stuff for this exact reason.

Did it see a winter first? It seems like they cheaped out on some of the hardware under the car

I bought it new in the winter, and changed the exhaust a week later. My hardware wasn't rusted... it was stripped out and cross-threaded and over torqued to the point that air tools were snapping bolts before getting them to break free.

Ouch... Kinda shocking coming from a Japanese company.

Got mine off easily with a pipe extension on my ratcheting wrench. Had a harder time with the rubber hangers.
