I do love me the 427 though. I see the c6z06 increasing in value just because of the hand made ls7 power plant.

I wouldn't be surprised if a fully loaded C7 ZO6 ends up over the $100K mark

People will pay it, and it will still outsell the new Viper

How much is it?

I love the idea of carbon ceramic brakes, it cuts so much unsprung mass off the car, I would definitely buy them if I were rolling in dough.

Actually I was thinking a bit older than that, maybe when the C7Z dipped into the $30k range.

Your expectation about the C7Z holding its value well goes to my point as well though. Whether due to higher used prices, increased cost of consumables, or just the feeling of heavier weight overall, the C7Z may not be as appealing for track day enthusiasts. Time will tell.

That's how I took it as well. Of course the Mustang is also a beast, even with that 4cyl.

Considering the massive increase in quality, technology, and the sheer performance of the car, I can't see those breaking below 55k for at least 5 years.
I don't think the C7 Z06s are going to drop a whole lot for a while, but I don't think the C7 is going to hold resale value much better than any other previous version really. At least I hope not because I want one someday maybe.. :P Had no idea pricing was being revealed tomorrow though. I saw the order guides but that's it.

For the ZR1 I've seen as low as 5500 for four rotors. 700-800 for front pads and 400-500 for rear.

C6 Conversion kits start at like ten grand though. Other manufacturers are more.

Yea that sounds cheap. Porsche PCCBs are a 9k option, but I think replacement rotors will run you 20k for some reason.

3524 lb = LAME
But I bet a loaded 1974 454 Corvette is slightly heavier, but still, Corvette has for the most part held the line on weight at ~3250-3350 lb. for many decades now, it sucks to see it porking up like all the other marques
