You are going to hate you self if the 2016 is amazing.

I bought a 2013 model and first regretted buying a first year car but turns out the 2015 still has the same small problems.
What problems (plural) still exist other than the chirping HPFP which is not so much a problem but just a noise?

Zero regrets with my 2013. With the mods I've done I feel like it's much better than anything that's been released afterwards anyways.

I'm hoping as tada had mentioned before that whatever (if at all) the changes are that they will be transferable to the current 86

Also, has the taillight condensation issue been fixed yet or not? The last real thing I heard was that Subaru isn't paying for replacement taillights anymore with a corresponding TSB that condensation is normal (it's not).

Finally, I have already read some related posts, but who out there is using a car cover on a daily driver?
Do you need a car ASAP? Can you wait? If you can wait, then you might as well and then try to score a deal on a remaining 2014/2015 car.

Don't know where you live, but here in the midwest the best time to buy one of these cars is Dec-March timeframe. Dealers usually mark them down and get desperate once winter hits. Same with the used market.

The only thing I feel jipped on is the new SWP color. Now my car just looks outdated.

I dunno how much more desperate they can get, summer seems like just as good of a time here in midwest. I got my 14' limited last month for 25.6

There was a brand new 2013 red limited BRZ at a local dealer listed for $25K online back in March and when I was looking at WRX's the dealer told me he would sell it for $23.5K before tax, tag, title, etc.

I passed, but I did see they finally sold it. Might have been able to negotiate high $22K range.

Best of both worlds, take over someones lease now that has a year or two left and decide if you really like the car. Then you can drive it now and wait to buy one until we know whether further improvements are coming. This will also keep you from going too mod heavy right away and will help you learn to drive it as is. Swapalease.com and leasetrader.com both work, though I preferred leasetrader.com
