Buy 2015 or wait for 2016

What's your opinion on holding out for model year 2016 instead of 2015. There are internet rumors that a real mid-cycle refresh will happen for 2016.

Also, has the taillight condensation issue been fixed yet or not? The last real thing I heard was that Subaru isn't paying for replacement taillights anymore with a corresponding TSB that condensation is normal (it's not).

Finally, I have already read some related posts, but who out there is using a car cover on a daily driver?

The 2015 is the mid cycle refresh. They redid the suspension slightly with new bolts, new exhaust tips, shark fin antenna, and Auto on and off headlights for the FRS.

The 2015 is going to be the same as 2016.

I have a 2013 and I don't have tail light condensation.

And shit man! the 2015s just barely came out! What makes you think news of the 2016 will surface already? #endrant

I'm feeling nice...:D

Waiting for a 2016...nothing concrete has come out about any significant updates for the 2016 model year. There will probably be another release series/special edition of some sort, perhaps some new colors/accessories, minor fascia changes, but I wouldn't expect much more.

Last year at this time the 2015 was supposed to get a power bump (according to the internet rumor mill), but you saw that didn't happen.

I have not heard about any taillight issues on the 2015's. Regardless, there are many easy fixes (cheaper, thicker gaskets...snowman snot sealant) to fix any potential leaky taillights.

Buy a used 2013 model for $18-21K or wait until there is an actually improvement, whether thats 2016 or 2017.

You are going to hate you self if the 2016 is amazing.

I bought a 2013 model and first regretted buying a first year car but turns out the 2015 still has the same small problems.

WTF is snoman snot? I've heard of gasket ninja, and have read references to snowman snot, but nobody ever mentions what it is and where to get it...

Since it's summer, I don't have any snow men around to ask :)

Just buy a used 2013 and the extra money for track and/or mods

My mom always said you can't buy time. That time you spend waiting for the next best thing/something to go on sale, you could be enjoying it.

That's perfect explanation of why I bought June 1 2012. I would have rather save and buy used but, YOLO i guess
