I agree to a certain point...

It's still rotational mass in the drivetrain. And this fluid coupling becomes solid around 2200 rpm if I recall correctly. It should be just about as noticeable as a manual I would think. Especially in the relatively low rpm areas where the auto really wants torque and chooses to live when not in manual mode.

I would like I know what other stuff OP has done in order to get to the point of considering this, in a dollars-to-performance way.

FD Gears 4.88 or 5.3 is a difference night and day I highly recommend going that route first I love it.... next light weight flywheel!
