how reliable and accurate are these ETAs... my ETA was 16th-18th(today). Chance it will be here today, but also heard Toyota was holding trucks back to get it closer to june 1st.

i suggest you call your dealer and tell them not to put it inside the show room
Where did you get that info from? My dealership is allowing me to take it home once they get it. They too said mine should be here before the 21st

I'm considering making a phone call to the Scion regional office to get this straightened out, since were not even sure when the official "release date" even is, meaning when the dealer is actually allowed to sell the car, not the 6/1/2012 date. Their computers say its been shipped and an ETA, but then other side information saying otherwise. I'm all for taking my car home early if it arrives say this weekend.

Been waiting for close to 2 years now :|

Update for you folks, they actually wont sell the car until the 1st. They are being held at the receiving plant in west Chicago. A dealer I know mistakenly received one early today, and Toyota swooped in and picked it back up and took it away.

Looks like we keep waiting. But hey, atleast the car is at our doorsteps right?

I can only imagine the tears that owner must have had...

*ring ring* "HEY!!! COME ON DOWN, WE HAVE YOUR CAR!"

A short time later...

*ring ring* "uhhhh yeah, about that last call...."

My dealer did not call this morning. They did not receive any FR-Ss yesterday. Cars just don't show up unannounced, out of the blue. I did not go down to the dealer this morning. I have not signed any paperwork or traded in my old tC. I did not spend the last few hours on a 50+ mile test drive. I can't tell if Raven is the coolest color or not yet. There is nothing new in my dark underground parking structure.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to uh...go to...Milwaukee to uh...get some milk. Or brats. Or some cheesy comestibles.

It's so thoughtful of the artist's rendering to blur out the license plate on that last shot

Are you a first 86er? I see grossinger has 2 more frs up. A raven and an asphalt.

If I were you I would get a personal plate "IL FRST".
