The real changes come both under the hood and inside the cabin, where the stock 4U-GSE has been augmented with a Garrett turbocharger, helping it put down somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 horsepower to the wheels. A TRD big brake kit has been outfitted on the car to give it the stopping power it needs, while new TRD racing seats have been installed in place of the stock set to keep drivers and passengers securely fastened.

That's a little bit confusing. Scion says the motor is stock, but the build list says otherwise.
