I love how clean the engine bay is in these pictures. This makes me want to go forced induction on mine BADLY, but I just can't justify throwing my warranty out the window, since this car is my DD.

Gauges look AWESOME too

Ahhhh the bumper is comming off at the fenders!!! Pet peeve right there lol. ( saw so many highly modded cars at 86fest II and their front bumpers couldnt even get fixed)

I feel like it looks like a riced out car that couldnt get their fiberglass body kit to fit right so it sticks out everywhere.

Please fix, its a $20 part for each headlight.

Other than that its amazing. I want to go AVO so bad!!

Because its a factory flaw. the clips on all the FR-S and BRZ come off. This car is a track car so he doesn't mind the little things like that.

Oh yeah i know its a flaw, im victim of it too. I took off my bumper 1 too many times.

Drove me crazy so i had to buy a new one with brackets.

Regardless tho it looks beatiful under that hood.

actually as a side question:

is the intercooler able to be attached without taking off the front bumper? As in would a lift/taking off the bottom plastics suffice for room to mount it? or is drilling required?

Also do you know if the intercooler can come non powdercoated? or powdercoated chrome for that polished look?

You HAVE to remove the front bumper. Trust me it's not that bad just plastic push-on screws. Also idk I guess you can ask AVO or get it coated, but typically all AVO intercooler a are black for the 86.

Yeah I know removing the bumper isnt bad, i can probably do it now in under 15 min.

its just that Im about to replace my bumper and brackets bc they got worn out and id hate to take off the bumper yet again and ruin them. lol, thats all.

I'd wait on that if you're trying to be cost effective. That's if you're doing anything to remove the front bumper at all in the future.
