There is one problem. The engine stalls out occasionally when I'm going about 5 m.ph., I'm not giving it any gas, and it doesn't stall out at 5 psi. Currently the shop that installed it and STS are trying to figure out what's going on.
Sounds like the tune to me. What tune are you running?

They've tuned it twice and it still happens. I'm thinking maybe the back pressure could be causing it.

Who is they? STS? How many FA20s have they tuned? Are you using EcuTek? They probably don't have the MAF scaling correct or their intake design has put the MAF in a bad location.

Dyno is doing the tuning, but they are sending the data back to STS who is telling them what to do. It could possibly be the MAF and I'll bring that up when I take my car back in tomorrow. We've sent back pictures of everything, STS says that it is all installed correctly, and there isn't any sign of any leaks.

So yours is MAF based? Mine is MAP based now. I look forward to seeing your results and sharing mine should be a great comparison.

does this kit hook up to the stock front pipe, or is it a completely custom pipe running from the header outlet to the turbo?

Mine is from the Over Pipe back, could be different for the production STS kits though.

Which would suck for me if I got this, since I have a single piece fp/op.

What is the estimated price?

Hmmm..I wonder if it could feed an innovate charger?

The innovate would build boost long before this kit would without the intercooler it's ok with the intercooler it's in the 3200 range.
Running a twin charger setup would spool the turbo faster and make it easier to run more boost.

Strange mine sounds more like a turbo spooling and not a sewing machine....

I have to wonder: why isn't a front mount ic included stock with the kit, but is an extra $1k on top?

Is this kit actually just fine without an FMIC in the desert heat near the super hot Asphalt?

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.
