I'm guessing you made the gay ass meme too, based on your spelling. Go troll elsewhere

Point being, I came here to find an answer and at least 4 people came here to make fun of me for it. Why?
I didn't ask for help finding a bunch of people to tell me what an idiot I am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

im honestly not making fun of you. i just dont understand what you want. $3500 coilovers are likely going to perform better than that $3500 air suspension. you might not think going from $230 springs to $3500 airbags is crossing your seemingly nonexistent budget boundary but thats definitely the exception and not the rule. i already said it was my fault for making the assumption.

Well not everyone wants to drive around on a coils. Unless you track your car or drive it hard it's really just for ride height on the street if you're just going around to get groceries. Why buy a sports car to get groceries right? At the end of the day it's your time and money so do what you want.

I don't think he's complaining. He described how he wants to mod his car and all you did was troll him.

I just spent a few hours looking into airlift. Trying to dog me for something thousands of people are doing with their rides. Companies are investing a lot of money to perfect exactly what it is I'm looking for. The one making the most progress, what do ya know, in the Midwest. Selling points; lowest drop, best lap numbers compared to coils AND smoother ride quality!!! Out of 20 responses, I can only thank h4nh for providing a link to exactly what I was looking for. Everyone else can pretty much sink back under your rocks. It's like flying without wings, well now we have jets . It's called progress! We don't drive on wheels carved from wood/stone do we? You were all a bunch of quick gunning assholes in my book. Thanks for putting me back in the mind frame that this place is way too full of no-it-alls.

![]() Those air lift kits look kind of interesting. I don't think many people have sufficient experience here to really comment the effectiveness of this kit. Perhaps contacting your local dealer will provide some insight. http://www.airliftperformance.com/dealer-locator/ If you want a proper lift setup, look into cup kit setups. A friend of mine designed one for his NSX and it works well. Last edited by CSG David; 03-02-2014 at 04:30 AM. |

The link h4nh was a good starting point. I found a link on nasoic to have a lot of questions being asked and answered. The direct website also has a break down video with 3 cars, ( one of which is a BRZ), comparing to coilovers. Pretty good video. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^ not sure if it has been addressed but in that video they don't even mention which coilover the bags are compared to. Sub 1k coilovers WILL make your car slower on track whereas something along the same price as bags will net faster times (assuming it is setup right). The truth is even when bags have good damping air is still compressible and will never yield the characteristics of a linear spring. Not saying you can't track a car on bags nor am I saying bags are a waste I'm just pointing out that fact is all.
+1 for bags for daily -1 for any track use IMO

Just like any commercial product, I'm sure the numbers are done in some tricky way to make them sound spectacular. The fact that you can ride them that hard is impressive to me. You can slam the car at meets and raise it for a comfortable ride home, that's the biggest things for me

Just ordered the Air Lift Performance Digital V2 kit for my BRZ. Hoping to get it in and install this weekend if it shows up in time. If not, next weekend for the install then. Talked to a few people who run this same kit in their twins and love them. Extremely reliable. Stoked!

Go back to stock height, and you can drop your tire's pressure too. Try 28-30 psi.
