I view the NXT as a sealant. I mean, for the most part, that's what a synthetic wax is (or at least how it's been explained to me). I'm perfectly content with just the NXT on; however, I put a layer of carnauba on top out of habit and for that little extra pop. Granted on my whiteout I probably don't need it; however, on my wife's dark gray metallic Forester it looks awesome.

If I'm wrong about synthetics essentially being sealants, I'd love to know. I admittedly haven't done a boatload of research on the topic and am always willing to learn.

I use Klasse sealant on both my FR-S and Sienna, they last pretty long. Both vehicle park outside. I apply it once a year. It hold up well.

This guy been test a lots of product in his truck show Klasse hold up very well.
