the speaker you should be able to also do this:
use a DMM, and check the resistance across the terminals, it should be a little less that the impedance value IIRC. (I haven't looked this up, just going off memory here)
Yeah I tested speaker yesterday. It's blown. Circuitry on amp looks good visually but need to hook speaker to it to tell.
Problem I have now is that I have no clue what the impedance is. I googled and have no idea still.
Who wants to test their speaker and report back? Lol

The fuses are there for a reason, if they blow that means something bad has happened.......

Bet you have not only blown a speaker but the amp too......expensive way to find out what fuses are for.
Sounds like you somehow have a dog in this race...

Surely the speaker has a model printed on the back, and most show rated impedance as well

Unfortunately I found nothing on the speaker. Maybe it's a speaker they only use for this box.

No, but with over 20 years as a car audio engineer (designing the amps and speakers) it always make me wonder what people were thinking when they keep replacing fuses, putting bigger one in, adding pieces of metal, or what ever other silly thing they do when a fuse blows expecting it to just magically work.

9 times of of 10 they just end up burning the circuit board, blowing MOSFETS, or otherwise destroying something because of this.

The real fix could of been something as easy as a bad ground or power wire too small, or even just a loose wire strand shorting the speaker terminals........... nope just do the easy thing, don't bother to check what the cause is, replace the fuse and expect everything to be AOK

TBH, the first time a fuse blows I always just replace it, and write it off as bad luck.. If a fuse blows more than once, that's when I investigate.

Edit: when I was working on my aux LED lighting wiring I wired a diode backwards, and was very glad for the fuses I used. Saved me probably needing a new BCU.

Yeah. I was pushing it pretty hard as figured that I wad killing it. Each time I replaced the first (twice) I lowered the volume as to not push it to the breaking point again.
If I could just figure out the resistance(ohms) I will replace speaker.
