It's once piece.
cannot replace separately unless you take saw it off lol

Well, in that case, I'd suggest you use a hair dryer to heat it up, try to press it flat as possible, let it cool, then get some black vinal repair goop, slap it on and use your (or your SOs) artistic talent to make a pattern in it.

......and yes, I was a big fan of baling wire .... till I upgraded to duck tape ....

If not, hopefully our fellow 86'er will give the $300 back and go through insurance legit, or have the other person make up the difference for the deductible and claim it as a hit-an-run.

Personally, I would do it legit and never take a cash payment.
Agree with your last statement. Even if the person gives you 300 bucks off the bat, he did more than 300 dollars worth of damage just by bumping into you.

Yea i was in a rush at the time and just asked for 300 off the bat. We both didn't want to deal with insurance so he said he will cover the rest when I find out the costs for repair. Obvioulsly I have his license plate and ID for safe measures. I hope to get an estimate by this weekend.

$300 will definitely not cover the damages. You're probably looking at $6-$750 if the damage isn't too bad. At the very least the bumper will have to be replaced

Get a new bumper and repaint ($4-500 plus paint?). OR if you can live with it, go for it and enjoy the $300
What is "ABS"?

Once it's dented or anything, you're better off replacing the whole bumper.
