I've had a Berk dual exit muffler delete for ~5 months and it's loud. I'd say try getting one first, not both at the same time. I love the sound of the delete though. I set off every car alarm when I go through parking lots. I feel like a total ass cruising through residential streets at night because I set off car alarms just passing by. There's drone at 2k and 4k. I got used to it and it isn't a nuisance but if the drone was any louder I'd have a headache. My passengers say it's just loud enough that it bothers them on long road trips, but not loud enough where it kills them. Sounds aggressive af when you accelerate though.

If you feel like an ass when driving the car and you are setting off car alarms just passing by, chances are you most likely sound like a douche to everyone else.

I've heard and driven in a BRZ with borla headers, perrin overpipe, perrin 3" catted front pipe, perrin 3" resonated catback and I can tell you that it borders on the edge of being to loud IMO. Although that could be that I'm probably getting to old for the super loud exhaust scene.

Do yourself a favor, get a set of borla UEL headers and leave the rest of the exhaust alone. You'll get that great sound of the boxer engine, pick up some HP when you get a tune, and you won't sound like a douchebag driving down the street.

I'm just giving him my perspective. IMO it'd be way too loud if he got a muff delete + anything else that'll make it louder. It's not my intention to sound like a douche driving around. I try my best to keep it under or over the loud drone levels or stay on larger streets as long as possible.

I'm on the Perrin 3" front and catback, like I said, I sometimes I feel like an ass. As soon as I do the headers/perrin Overpipe, I know that I am going to be loud. But it will be a quality loud that has one hell of a sound.

Nameless is probably the best front pipe imo. Built in overpipe piece, very few bends. Cheaper than most overpipe/front pipe combos and also comes in a 3" flavor.

I drove with just a axleback delete for 10,000 miles and didn't mind it a bit. I recommend just doing that to someone if they want a little noise and cheap. Can't beat 27 pounds of weight lose and the noise increase isn't much. I did Headers all the way back this weekend and I had to put the axleback on again, with the delete it was full out racecar loud.
